Day 1: Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be met and welcomed by your safari guide who will transfer you to your hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning, you will have a chance to visit some of the interesting places around Kampala. These include Kasubi tombs, Uganda museum, African Craft Market, Namirembe Cathedral and the national museum among others if time permits Dinner and an overnight stay at Elephant safari Village, cassia Lodge, Boma Hotel, Hotel Africana, and Serena Hotel

Day 2 Transfer to Murchison Falls national park

You will be picked up by our safari tour guide from your hotel/lodge after breakfast and then you will be transferred to the north western part of Uganda via Luweero triangle and Nakasongola. If interested track the rare animal the black and white rhino at the ziwa rhino sanctuary at a fee of US$40 per person, after proceed to Masindi town for lunch (Kolping Hotel). From here you will continue with your journey up to the top of the falls a fantastic view; here the Nile River is forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades. The Nile River can be viewed at difference points up to Bakers Summit. Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise

This day you will take a ferry crossing to the northern bank of the Nile River escorted by a game ranger to catch up with a big number of animal species that reside at the park. Games expected to see include buffaloes, elephants, giraffe, lion, leopard, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, antelopes among others. After the activity take a slow drive back to the lodge for lunch and then after lunch, embark on a two to three hours launch cruise on the Nile for more opportunity to view various species of animals such as schools of hippos, crocodile, buffaloes and elephant can be see along the water shores plus various species of birds the shoebill for lucky visitors at the park like the pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite Kingfishers, saddle billed stork if lucky you will come across the shoebill. Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest national park

After breakfast embark on a 7-8 hours’ drive to kibale forest national park a home to over 13 species of primates coupled with chimpanzee, and other primate species. Day 5: Chimp tracking and Bigodi swamp walk

Have an early morning breakfast, follow the guide to the ranger station in Kibale national park at 08:00am to track habituated chimps. After, proceed to the moist tropical rainforest for chimpanzee tracking one of the most interesting activities done at the park. This park is known for harboring the largest number of primates over 13 species. Chimps are more closely related to humans than to any other living creature; they are fabulous fan to watch when playing in fruitful trees. Tracking time is unpredictable as it can go from 1-6 hours so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well as tracking gears such as sturdy pair of tracking shoes. Ounce chimps are met you strictly allowed to stay with them for only one hour, take phots as well as watching them doing their daily activities like feeding, making nest, playing from tree to tree among other. Not only chimps, but Other primate species will also entertain you during tracking like the black and white colobus monkeys, grey mangabeys, pottos , bush babies just to mention but a few. In the afternoon you will go for a walk to the bigodi wetland characterized with unique flora and fauna. Day 6: Kibale forest –Queen Elizabeth-launch cruise

After breakfast we shall embark on the journey to Uganda’s highest biodiversity park queen Elizabeth national park. Reaching the park by afternoon, we shall catch the boat ride on the kazinga channel. This two hours launch cruise is so rewarding with excellent views of a number of animals such as hippos, buffaloes, elephant, and plenty of bird species that characterizes the shores of the Lake George and Edward like pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite Kingfishers, saddle billed stork and among others. Day 7: Game drive and chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge

Wake up early for a morning breakfast, after head to the kasenyi area of the park to catch up with early games that rush out from their hideouts. Expect to see games like herds of elephant, buffaloes, lion, bushbuck, waterbuck, Uganda kob, warthogs, and leopards among other games. After we shall get back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, in the afternoon we shall go to kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking. These close relatives of man are tremendous fan to watch as they squabble and play in fruitful trees or tree blanches. Day 8:  Transfer to Bwindi gorilla park drive

Drive through the ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Expect to see the tree climbing lions and other games like Uganda kob, elephants, topi and, many others. Have lunch en route (ishasha river camp) and then after continue to Bwindi a home of endangered mountain gorillas. Arrive at the park in afternoon for relaxation. If the evening is free go for a walk in the neighboring communities and also get entertainment from the local performance, do shopping for crafts. Day9: Gorilla tracking

After an early morning breakfast, the guide will head you to the park headquarters to receive a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with gorillas. After, follow the ranger guide to the steep densely forested hills before coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. Gorilla tracking is unpredictable as it can go from a half or full day in the forest searching for our cousins meeting them depends on where they spent the last night from, so a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes/boots, long sleeved shirts or blouse, battled water and sometimes packed lunch. Ounce gorillas are met you will forget all the troubles you’ve gone through and utilize the one hour you are allowed to stay with gorillas. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is unforgettable moment to watch and photography them as they interact with each other, the evening is reserved for leisure at the pool side. Day 10: Depart to Parc National Des Volcans

Take breakfast before making a scenic journey to Rwanda through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. Drive through the winding road and terraced landscape and reach Kisoro for lunch and then drive to Uganda /Rwanda boarder and cross to Rwanda, (the clocks go backwards one hour). Arrive in the afternoon, check into your booked accommodation, if you have the evening free take in a panoramic sunset over the volcanoes. Day 11: gorilla tracking        

After breakfast, go gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans. Tracking the gorillas in this light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a mystical experience. The walks might be difficult, but an encounter for a family of gorilla is rewarding. You are reminded to come with tracking gears like study pair of walking shoes and some physical fitness is needed as meeting them depends on where they spent the last night from. Ounce they are met Spend an hour with them and be back at the base in time for a late lunch, some group families however are more elusive and tracking can go to a full day, especially when it’s wet and muddy.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Kiva

This day after breakfast, you will be transferred lake kiva the freshest lake in Rwanda but also in the East and Central Africa. Arrive in the afternoon, check into your booked accommodation and after lunch proceed to the lake and enjoy beach activities like swimming, volley ball, sun bathing, and boat ride on the lake to explore the neighboring island. After the activity drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel /Palm Beach Hotel

Day 13: Transfer to Nyunggwe forest national park

This morning after breakfast proceed to Nyungwe forest national park Rwanda’s protected park housing over 13 species of primates. Make a stopover at Butare, visit interesting places like the reconstructed king’s palace at Nyanza, visit also the Butare Museum and Murambi memorial site, after lunch in Butare continue with your journey with a scenic view up to the park. In the evening you can go for a community walk to meet the neighboring people around the park, they will entertain you through their cultural performance, dinner and an overnight stay at (luxury) Nyungwe forest Lodge/ (Mid –range) Nyungwe top View Hill Hotel, Nyungwe Guest house/ (budget) Gisakula Gust House

Day 14: Chimpanzee tracking

Early morning breakfast and then after follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the search of our cousins’ chimpanzee. Chimps are fabulous fan to watch when playing in fruitful trees. Tracking time is unpredictable as it can from 1-6 hours so a reasonable degree of fitness is required and you are also recommended to come with tracking gears such as strong shoes/boots, long sleeved shirts or blouses, bottled water. Ounce chimps are met you strictly allowed to stay with them for only one hour take as many photos as you can as well as observing their behavior . Other primate species can also entertain you during chimp tracking like owl-faced monkey, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, more than 300 Colobus monkeys, mona monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys among others.  After comeback to the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon, you may go for an optional nature walk. Day 15: Departure

Wake up leisurely for a hearty breakfast and then after if time permits go for Kigali city tour, and shopping around the town, after lunch you will be transferred to kanombe airport to meet your departure flight back home.
