Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to bwindi forest national park

Meet and greet with our elephant safari company tour guide/driver who will get you briefed about the safari and later start your journey by 7.30am to the south western part of Uganda.  First Stopover at Mpambire a local community known for making local drums and crafts admire and buy yourself souvenirs, after continue to the equator crossing, stopover for photography as well as taking snacks. We will continue with our journey to Mbarara for lunch, from here take a long drive up to the park, Pass by mountains, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest during the nine hour journey. Arrive in the late evening for leisure at your booked accommodation as you’re waiting for tomorrow’s most interesting activity that’s gorilla tracking. Day 2: Gorilla tracking

Wake up very early in the morning for a cup of tea/coffee and then after you will be transferred to the park headquarters before 8.00am to receive short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get you assigned to the gorilla family to track. After the ranger guide will head you to the rain forest or bamboo covered slopes to begin the activity possibly the most interesting activity done on earth. The walking can sometimes be tough and long with some difficulties since tracking is done in the forest, you are remained to come with strong shoes or gumboots, long sleeved shirts or blouses, insect repellents, bottled water and sometimes packed lunch. Meeting gorillas is unpredictable it can go to half or full day in the jungle searching for them so a reasonable degree of fitness is recommended. But when you catch a glance of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten and utilize the one hour you are allowed to stay with these giants while observing their behaviors, as well as taking as many photos as you can (you are reminded that flash cameras are not allowed) not only gorillas, but also expect to see other primates like chimpanzee, black and white colobus monkey. After this wonderful moment go back to the lodge for leisure.if you still have energy this evening go for a community walk to meet the local people around the park ( batwa) these people will entertain you through their cultural music and dance and they will also take you through their history, hunting skills farming skills among other. Day 3: Departure

Embark on your drive back to Kampala with en route stopover at any interesting place and lunch at Mbarara (A gip motel) meet your departure flight in time and say fare well to Uganda.
